2025 John Lloyd Memorial Scholarship

The John Lloyd Memorial Scholarship honors the life and legacy of a man whose selflessness, kindness, and unwavering loyalty left a lasting impact on all who knew him. John was a strong advocate for others, always standing up for what was right. He had a solid moral compass, believing deeply in fairness and respect for all. With his ability to see the good in others, John was a trusted friend, confidant, and mentor. His wisdom, humble nature, and unparalleled work ethic made him a respected figure within his trade and his life. This scholarship was created through fundraising efforts to honor John’s legacy and is dedicated to his grandson’s graduating class, ensuring that his values continue to inspire future generations.

The John Lloyd Memorial Scholarship aims to support Hockinson High School seniors who exemplify the same values of kindness, respect, and integrity that John lived by. This award is designed to help deserving students pursue their educational goals—whether at a college, university, or trade school—while carrying forward the spirit of John’s legacy.
